Molly Mac Cottages is located in southern Queensland’s premier wine region of Stanthorpe close to dozens of top-quality vineyards. Within a short drive of our gate a showcase of Granite Belt delights awaits you, including the Strange Bird winery trail, featuring a plethora of cellar door vineyards and local businesses offering a fantastic variety of award-winning wine, wonderful food and entertainment. We are also on the doorstep of Girraween and other beautiful National Parks offering unique scenery and wildlife, biking, hiking, driving trails and walking tracks.
Head south to charming Ballandean, north to Stanthorpe township (12 km), Applethorpe and The Summit, and lose yourself east and west amongst the splendour of our unspoilt region. Summer fruits and festivals, Autumn’s glorious blaze, Winter chill and warm fires, Spring flower delight – whatever the season Queensland’s high country has lots to offer visitors.

Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Granite Belt within easy reach of regional highlights, Molly Mac Cottages is set on 5 private and peaceful acres of beautiful natural Australian countryside. Bordered by pristine forest to our south and the languid Severn River at the bottom of the property our quiet area enjoys lots of native birds and wildlife.
We offer guests three charming and cosy cottages set well apart. Each cottage is comfortably furnished and fully self-contained including a spacious bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, attached carport, combustion fire and private outdoor fire pit. Though largely off-grid we also enjoy the convenience of moderate to good mobile phone reception across all the networks.
